Alexander J. Gordon, M.A. is a pre-doctoral extern at the Albert Ellis Institute (AEI). He received his B.A. in psychology from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Mr. Gordon is currently working towards his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at St. John’s University. He has treated and evaluated individuals with a wide range of psychological and medical problems in inpatient, outpatient, and research settings. Mr. Gordon’s research interests include psychological and cognitive functioning of those with medical illnesses, the link between personality and substance use, and other health-related topics.
