Anger Disorders Treatment & Research Center (ADTRC)

The Anger Disorders Treatment and Research Center (ADTRC) provides state-of-the-art assessment and treatment for people with anger and aggression problems. ADTRC is led by world-renowned anger specialist, Dr. Raymond DiGiuseppe. Dr. DiGiuseppe is one of the leading experts on anger in the world. He is a professor at St. John’s University in NYC, President-Elect of the Division of Psychotherapy of the American Psychological Assocation, and past president of the Association of Behavior and Cognitive Therapies. You can view his ABCT presidential address that covers the topic of anger as a clinical problem. Dr DiGiuseppe also has co authored the informative and ground breaking book Understanding Anger Disorders , and developed the Anger Disorder Scale, and the Anger Regulation and Expression Scale. He is a Distinguished Diplomate of the National Anger Management Association (NAMA). ADTRC offers comprehensive psychological assessments for those with anger and aggression problems and evidenced-based treatment for anger and aggression, both ongoing anger therapy groups and individual therapies sessions for people with anger issues. ADTRC accepts referrals from Attorneys, Probation Departments, Criminal Justices Agencies and Mental Health Professionals. All the therapists at ADTRC are trained and supervised by Dr. DiGiuseppe.
