Albert Ellis always supported the dissemination of rational emotive and cognitive behavior therapy in academic fields. In 1993, Albert Ellis Institute created a Summer Fellowship Program as one means to train academics in the research, theory, and practice of REBT.

2023 Ellis Scholars Program

Dates: September 8-10, 2023 (Primary Practicum) & September 28- October 1, 2023 (Advanced Practicum)

The Ellis Scholars Program is open to full-time University Faculty (Undergraduate and Graduate Programs) and Directors of Internship/Externship programs at Mental Health and Medical Facilities.  Scholars will participate in Albert Ellis Institute’s 3 Day Primary Practicum in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and 4 Day Advanced Practicum in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and meet with Institute faculty regarding the research and practice status of REBT.

Cost of the program:  $1750 US dollars

If you are interested in the program, please send your curriculum vitae, a preliminary or general plan of how you will incorporate REBT into your curricula, and/or your REBT research ideas for desired participation, to scholars@albertellis.org.
