Procrastination is something we have all experienced at one time or another. Granted, some experience it more often than others, but we have all put off a task for a later date when it was quite possible to complete it in the moment. This problem is especially prevalent when having to face uncomfortable tasks, such as preparing taxes, writing papers, and exercising. There may not be a scientifically proven method to completely eliminate procrastination in one’s life, but there are helpful ways to address and manage it. This public lecture will provide education on the concept of procrastination, review various factors that contribute to procrastination, and teach cognitive and behavioral strategies to help you Procrastinate Later and get things done now.
