This workshop will discuss the latest developments in Rational Emotive and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (RE&CBT) and its application to externalizing and internalizing disorders, including anxiety, depression, anger, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and eating disorders. Through interactive discussion and demonstration, participants will learn assessment and disputation strategies for irrational beliefs/cognitive distortions that commonly occur in children and adolescents.. Specific cognitive, emotive, and behavioral techniques and homework assignments for various childhood/adolescent disorders and difficulties will be presented.
