Albert Ellis Award 2017 Winner

The 2017 Albert Ellis Award for Research has been granted to the following scientific publication:

•Cuijpers, P., Cristea, I.A., Karyotaki, E., Reijnders, M., Huibers, M.. How effective are cognitive behavior therapies for major depression and anxiety disorders? A meta-analytic update of the evidence, World Psychiatry 15, 245–258 doi:10.1002/wps.20346 (Impact factor: 20.205).

o Principal author: Pim Cuijpers is a Highly Cited Researchers (based on the Web of Science analyses), a professor of clinical psychology/psychotherapy and the head of the Department of Clinical Psychology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He is also the Scientific program chair of the 9^th Congress of Cognitive Psychotherapy (International Association for Cognitive Psychotherapy), which will take place in 29^th of June-1^st of July 2017, in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, Romania.
