by Michael S. Broder, Ph.D.

“The Single Life: How to Make It Work for You” explores all aspects of the single life and how to make it work for the listener regardless of whether being single is temporary or permanent. The CD allows numerous opportunities for the listener to apply material and brief exercises to their own life. Dr. Broder explores the advantages of being single (freedom and choice), disadvantages (feelings of loneliness and isolation), “single phobia,” and the fears that many have of being single that keep them in bad relationships. A goal of the CD is to help the listener change their unhealthy beliefs about being single, and cherish and love their own company. In addition, Dr. Broder asks the listener to take notes and write down the exercises to create a “custom-made survival guide.”
