Meredith Zoltan, M.S., is a pre-doctoral extern at Albert Ellis Institute and a doctoral candidate in the School-Clinical Psychology Psy.D. program at St. John’s University. Ms. Zoltan currently provides psychotherapy and assessment services at St. John’s University clinic to children, adolescents, and adults presenting a range of psychological disorders, including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and ADHD, amongst others. Her clinical experience spans school and outpatient settings, where she has provided individual and group counseling, collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, and implemented evidence-based interventions to support clients’ emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning. In addition to her clinical work, Ms. Zoltan has experience supporting individuals experiencing crisis, trauma, homelessness, and social anxiety through community mental health and volunteer settings. She has contributed to trauma-focused research at St. John’s University and has additional research experience in mindfulness and eating disorders. Her clinical and research interests include understanding the mind-body connection, trauma-informed care, and anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders.
