Oksana Huk, Psy.D. is a staff psychologist at Albert Ellis Institute. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from SUNY New Paltz. Dr. Huk went on to receive her M.S. and Psy.D. in school psychology from St. John’s University and is a licensed psychologist in New York and New Jersey. Her doctoral dissertation examined the role of irrational beliefs affecting burnout among teachers. Dr. Huk has experience treating adults and adolescents presenting with various internalizing and externalizing disorders, including Anxiety Disorders, anger-related disorders, and relationship challenges. She also has experience providing
school-based behavioral consultation, psychological and psychoeducational evaluations, and intervention services. In addition to treating individuals at Albert Ellis Institute, Dr. Huk is an Associate Professor at Iona University and teaches within the graduate school psychology program. Dr. Huk’s research interests include teacher engagement and supporting the training of graduate students.
