Perry Callahan, M.A., is an extern at Albert Ellis Institute. She received a B.A. in Psychology from Boston University and an M.A. in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College. Ms. Callahan is currently earning her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Fordham University, where her research concerns extreme beliefs. Her clinical experience includes providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to people on supervised release from federal prison. She has also conducted cognitive, diagnostic, and violence risk assessments to assist with treatment planning and alternative sentencing decisions for justice-involved people with serious mental illness.
