Verónica Compeán is a fellow at Albert Ellis Institute.  received a B.S. in Psychology from the Anahuác University in Tampico, Mexico. Ms. Compeán obtained an M.S in School Psychology from St. John’s University, where she is currently earning a doctoral degree in psychology. Ms. Compeán has experience treating adolescents and adults presenting with various internalizing and externalizing disorders. She also has experience providing psychological assessments and conducting psychoeducational bilingual evaluations in private and school settings. Ms. Compeán research interests include adapting measures of emotional disturbance to a range of Hispanic cultures.
